I would recommend to anyone who's thinking of it to go ahead the results are great, just be prepared to stick it out!

I love that I don't even have to think about buying shampoo or conditioner now - I'm slowly reducing the aisles I need to go down in the supermarket!!

Poo free

I'm trying the no-poo thing, using just bi-carb, water and apple cider vinegar at the moment, I'm having mixed results.

I've posted about it here.

Anyone who's tried it themselves I'd really appreciate if anyone could give me any tips?

The thing is, I don't really mind having to wear my hair up all the time, as I usually pull it back most days anyway, but I'd still like the option cos every now and then I like to wear my hair down, and I just can't work out what I'm doign wrong, or whether I'm just being impatient and it will take a bit lnoger to adjust!

Anyway.... I came to post my plan, and I use the term 'plan' loosely LOL
We all know I suck at sticking to plans, something always get's in the way!!


The school term starts tomorrow in NSW, 10 weeks of school.
So 10 weeks = 10 plans

Is money the reason why?

Is it the reason why we consume so much? I'm starting to think so.

Lesson learnt - Water

With looking at our consumption being a HUGE thing with all of our challenges... actually learning the hard way is a great incentive to make a change. My family and I are learning the hard way right now. It's made all of us think about the way we live... yep even the male LOL

I think dealing with something like we have been (actually seeing & living it), makes you rethink the way use consume every day.

Half yearly round up

yup, you read it right, we are half way through the year folks. Can you believe it! I wonder where it has gone and look back at sooooo many days I can't account for LOL

On reflection I don't think I have done too badly in my challenge. So read on if you are interested

OMG I only bought one thing this month

What did I buy? Trust me, you will never guess...

Also, I decided to make a mental list of what possessions I would take if the house was threatened by bushfire and I had 20 minutes to pack the car. It ended up being a very interesting exercise in what was important to me, and what I could do without.

A different sort of challenge
